Facebook can't replace a traditional website, even though the masses may be there, it would be foolish to move the majority of online marketing to one particular channel. I think ownership of data is an important consideration - we don't know what kind of animal Facebook will be in a few years, or what could happen to that data. Facebook today is playing a much bigger role in online marketing, I'm seeing it from the number of businesses now with their own pages.
